Well this is disheartening……
Hope this is an ok thread to post in….
I am both peeved, and depressed that we live in a world where some people are just bad bad people!
So here is the thing, I managed to go to a couple of Kelly’s web sessions a few weeks ago, a month ago maybe, and as she was passing out gifts, I snagged a little card deck. I have been excited to receive it several weeks now, and about a week or so ago, I wrote Tisha back and asked what happened, not knowing if it was sent, ended up at the wrong address, or was stolen. She said she would look into it. So with that said, I don’t know if she had a second one sent etc…
Well today I receive a little brown manilla type envelope addressed to me from Kelly, opened, resealed, and completely empty!
I really did not need this depressing thing today (or any day) but this is the state of the world right now. I don’t expect Kelly to send another, as it was clearly sent only to fall in the wrong thieving hands, but even tho we don’t live in a necessarily bad neighborhood, it’s actually probably average for a residential area on the outskirts of a city, this has happened to me before. Not sure how many times either, but I did have an entire dress ripped off, and the carrier swears he placed it, but who the f knows.
We have a video security system around the house, mostly because I am so house bound, it helps me feel a little like I can still be part of the outside world, but I never saw that package (the dress) being delivered, and I always place me and my pc in front of the video monitor when I have a delivery date, and nothing ever showed being put in the box, so again, who the f knows, is the carrier a liar, or did someone (the Flash maybe) pull it out of the box in a blink of the eye.
Sorry, I needed to vent about this, and say how disappointing it is that nothing seems safe anymore, not even behind your own closed doors. I don’t want to even come close to sounding political in any way, because that is not me, but for the love of life, what the hell is happening to everything and everybody!
By the way, thank you Kelly, and Tisha, for sending it to me in the first place. Stephen asked what is was, and since I never got a chance to see them, all I could say was it was supposed to be a pack of little inspirational cards.
He then said, “well in that case, I hope they make whoever stole them, feel really really bad”. At least I got a smile out of that, does that make me bad?
Rant over, comments and points of view welcome!
