  • To Whom Do I Look For Inspiration

Great call this evening! A lot of good points to ponder and consider.

I have been thinking about one question this evening – Who do I think about for inspiration when I get stuck on my sh*t?

I do not think I have anyone. When I get stuck and know I need to do something, I dig deep and just grind through it. While I may procrastinate and put something off for whatever reasons (’cause my sh*t is special), eventually, I know it has to get done, so I do it. It gets done in the 11th hour, when it most likely is not the best time to do it.

I crave a Hero – or several – for you to tap for inspiration.

Likely there are many people you’ve noticed over the years and thought ‘Wow, look at what they’ve overcome or persevered through!’ Maybe just play with it and see if faces pop into your mind?

Certainly! After the conversation, I have been thinking about it – the seeds have been planted.

I am a gardener! So I love the whole planting a seed and watching it sprout!

I have just finished my first solo book project and am putting a 6-week “life survival” skills class together. I hired a VA( that’s a first for me!)

Excited to be in this challenge!!!!

Sounds great Kate! I just completed my first outsourcing experience which was super successful. It gives me confidence to begin to explore hiring a VA.

I was part of a collaborative book released in June. All I had to do was write which is what I’m good at. All the marketing, keywords, PR, book layout, Kindle and Amazon management, launch team, and summit were managed by the book producer/editor. It was super easy and fun for me and the book launched as #1 on Amazon’s Cognitive Neuroscience & Cognitive Neuropsychology list!

I’m looking forward to the challenge to help me bring more visibility to this project.

I love the plant growing gif you found Paul! I appreciate the getting stuck in our muck. What I do then is shift gears and do something else for a little bit (it can be anything, cooking, picking tomatoes, taking scrapes to my neighbor’s chickens). Usually, if I do something that moves my body this helps me shift my mind more quickly. I also ask myself: “How easily can I do _______?” I teach this to my clients and it helps us shift our attitude towards the project. Often, things start to flow again when we look at them from a slightly different direction.

Good luck, I look forward to hearing what you come up with that works for you!

    • It’s great learning and yes, shifting mind towards the project, that helps a lot when you are stuck. You are your own inspiration Paul! Hero is within you, if you deep dive into your past where you’ve overcome many unwanted situations. True Laura ! Looking things slightly different direction makes us ourselves more serene and calm. May Buddha bless us all!
