  • Question about purchasing fonts

Hey everyone – I need to purchase a font, and have no understanding of how I do this and then have access to it forevermore. I want to be able to create stuff on Canva using a font not available there. I’m including the url to the site that has my font (Carolina). From what I read I think I want the Desktop license type, but I don’t understand for sure, or how this works.

Has anyone purchased fonts before and can explain this process to me?

Here is the link to their font license information:

    https://creativemarket.com/licenses/fonts

That should tell you what you can and cannot do with it, according to which license you purchase. Once you purchase, you would then download it, and install it on your computer. Google how to do that, according to whether you have a PC or Mac.

To upload to Canva, you need to have the paid version of their service. Here are the instructions on how to upload fonts into your account there:

Thank you so much, Teresa! I wasn’t even sure exactly how to ask what I was trying to figure out. I think I understood the licensing part, but after that, I was lost. You were a BIG help. :)
