I LOVE everyone’s words you’ve chosen, and I resonate with most of them. 💚 I can completely be on board with everyone’s choice of words and actually see how they fit you.

I chose not to choose one this year.

I’ve chosen one for the last several years, but I’ve always struggled a bit with the idea of narrowing down my year to a word. There’s something inside me that always rises up and says “choose? ONE? word? – But I love all the words!”

I understand the concept of choosing, but I’ve decided it just doesn’t work for me. I’m a sampler of ideas and experiences. I’m designed that way and I love that about me.

Besides, I’m feeling such potential for expansion and creativity for the coming year that I couldn’t BEGIN to narrow it down to just one word. I’m instead putting my creative bucket out in the rain of ideas and allowing the words to fill it up as I go.

Here are just a few of the ones I’ve collected so far:

    • Possibility
    • Imagination
    • Curiosity
    • Wonder
    • Optimism
    • Exploration
    • Forgiveness
    • Remembering
    • LOVE

I’ve been through some tough stuff over the last few months, finally understanding what people mean when they talk about “the long goodbye” and I’ve learned to find the blessings in the middle of the suffering.

Suprisingly, that has made me even more optimistic and determined to live in joy, not less so.
