UPDATE: I just sent Scott a virtual hug. I had asked him to point me in the right direction to figure out how to do all of this and here is what he said:

The best way to do this is to simply ask us to do it for you. Just send the current and new domain names, and let us know whether you want to keep a copy of the site on its current (so that you can have two different sites with different content) or if instead you want the old domain name to point to the new one.

This is something very easy for us to do for sites hosted here, but it can be a big pain to do it yourself or to use a plugin for it.
