Okay, I’m not 100% following all of this. Is there anywhere I can find the step by step on how to do this? Everything I find online is about moving a site, although when I looked up parking a domain on top of another domain, I found this info:

That makes it sound like when someone enters (for example) NewName.com it will take them to OriginalName.com, and OriginalName.com is what will be showing up in the browser. Is that right?

If so, how do I eventually get the website to be live on the new domain?

I’m assuming that has something to do with the “port it to the live site” part, but I’m pretty foggy on that, for sure.

That sounds like extra steps, unless I’m missing something, which is highly likely, given I’m not really “seeing” all of this in my head. It’s been a long time since I did any kind of moving of a website, and back then I just used WP Twin, which doesn’t seem to work anymore.

As far as the Amember part, Amember said they would move that installation for me for $80, but your description makes it sound like I wouldn’t have to have them do that?

I may just need to pay someone to do all of this for me. I was just trying to do as much as possible for myself, because I KNOW I want someone else doing the logo for me!
